Just to exacerbate my already-pronounced 30-something angst, Scotland announces an initiative to woo ex-pats back to the auld soil. Let’s weigh the options: Possible career opportunities (which I’m not getting in Canada) v. horrible weather, depressed population (some of which are family – another negative!) and prices double what they are here… *sigh* Why o why could I not have been of age when Ireland did the same thing years ago?
