My patience with the Stumble auto-tagging system has officially worn out. True, I get the occasional surrealistic, synergistic larf of finding a totally inappropriate tag accompanying an article, but most times it’s just brainless. How does the Stephen Colbert article get tagged “video games?” I don’t browse by tags, though I’m sure there are some Stumblers who do – how do totally inaccurate auto-tags help them? I say make the tag an optional user input, and save the auto-energy for something more useful, like a Stumble-specific search tool.
