Interesting bit of trivia that goes a long way to explaining my utter loathing of this narcissistic jerk’s paintings: I suffered an episode of Stendhal Syndrome in front of an unidentified Dali canvas in the Reina Sofia. He had painted his face into a cloud scene and, glimpsing it, I had to leave the room immediately. Even today the thought of it gives me the creeps.
