You’d be hard pressed to find a Canadian who hasn’t seen The Hockey Sweater. You’d be even harder pressed to find one who doesn’t quote liberally from it when the title is mentioned. But who knew that this delightful little allegory for the Anglo/Qubec divide was based on a real event? The picture below is of Roch Carrier as a deeply disappointed kid.
