President Bush on Monday called for quick deployment of an international force to help uphold the fragile cease-fire in Lebanon. “The need is urgent,” Bush said.
No, the need was urgent weeks ago, when Lebanon’s civilians were being bombed out of their homes and cities. Now, the need is just painfully late.
Just curious – can anyone think of any Presidents with a worse track record on International Relations? Bush is such an embarrassment, and he’s not even my Preznit!
I’m amused, though, to see that he appears to be rapidly fermenting, in the manner of Senator Palpatine. If Star Wars has taught me nothing else, it’s that turning to the Dark Side causes premature and accelerated aging.
