Another feature I’ll be incorporating into my own country, when I start it: Porous asphalt that absorbs water runoff and feeds it into the “gutters”, which are populated by plants. Given the brilliance of this idea, you know the only reason it isn’t more widely adopted is because of cost. But it’s probably cheaper than the single guided missile that was bought in its place. Governmental (emphasis on “mental”) priorities never fail to amaze me.
