riverpilots favorite websites – StumbleUpon

I don’t have much time to dig deeper – I’m on a self-alloted StumbleBreak instead of working – but RiverPilot’s page is one I’ll be checking out again. I especially love his link to Detroit’s urban decay. I drove through the city this spring, and right across the river from Windsor, there is a huge, imposing shell of what was once – and could be again – a grand building. When confronted by scenes like that – especially from the well-tended, secure, suburban feel of Windsor – it’s hard not to see it as an allegory of America.
