Jellyfish invasion in full swing ~ Pink Tentacle

Here’s a surreal photo from Japan, which is currently experiencing its annual jellyfish invasion. The first time I heard about this, it was in reference to a hydro plant that was shut down when it became dammed (and damned) with giant jellyfish. The headline was what caught my eye, and since then I’ve harboured (or floated, to keep the theme) the idea of using it as a band name: JELLYFISH BLACKOUT. Tell me that wouldn’t look awesome on a playbill or album cover! By the way, the collective noun for jellyfish is “smack,” but after hearing the horror stories, and seeing pictures like this, I respectfully request that it be changed to “clog.”
