Another group of “Americans” executed in Iraq turn out to be Blackwater employees. It’s eerie to think of how much this shady mercenary group’s employment is contributing to the trillion dollar bill for the war.
The whole idea of Blackwater gives me the creeps – well seeing it shares a name with sewage. Here are some career and personal highlights of its founder:
– Sold the family business for a billion dollars to start a mercenary soldier-of-fortune company
– brother of a former chairman of the MI Republican Party
– brother in law to an Amway president
– board member for a non-profit which helps “Christians who are persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ”
No word on whether that last point is rectified by the liberal application of Blackwater employees. But then, secrecy is the Blackwater hallmark.
