Though I’m not sure I agree with all of its theories, this article intrigues me. The tagline used by the author is, …the best way to feel hopeful for the future is to prepare for it. And yet, his suggestions are reminiscent of an 1890s frontier lifestyle, as seen in the Little House on the Prairie books. We aren’t urged to prepare for the future so much as we are invited to rehash the past.
