The president of the leading Southern Baptist seminary has suggested that a biological basis for homosexuality may be proven, and that prenatal treatment to reverse gay orientation would be biblically justified.
I’m surprised at – and disappointed with – the NYTimes for reprinting this non-starter story, as regurgitated from the Associated Press. About the only people who would be interested in “scientific” (likely misspelled on campus as “sientifick”) findings from a Baptist Seminary would be the people who attend it. Preaching to the converted, if you will.
