Apple’s application to build a store in Paris – its first in France – has been approved, according to the French financial daily La Tribune. The location: the Carrousel du Louvre, prime retail space under the pyramid that dominates Napoleon’s courtyard at the museum’s grand entrance.
Oh, yes. OH, YES. Apple + Paris = *swoon*, Apple + Paris + central location + perfect spot for kickass retail store = *dull thud after hitting floor in dead faint*
Due to its location (not to mention its cool temperatures, unoccupied benches, and housing of the best tourist info booth in the city), I spent a lot of time in the Carrousel last year. With this news, I forsee myself spending even more on my next trip.
