They had me at “secret workshop in Pantheon”, but the addition of “guerrilla restorers” inspired an ear-shattering squee: A group of skilled artisans covertly tackled the restoration of the Pantheon’s ancient, neglected clock.

Of all the “guerrilla” craft groups making the news recently, this is the one I’d most like to join, even if the dress code comprises a beret, a cigarette, and a painted-on Clouseau-esque moustache.
