I thought I remembered seeing this nifty bicycle lift when I was in Norway, but it appears to be in Trondheim, which I didn’t visit. I did, however, visit Bergen, and made the mistake of cheaping out on the bus to the hostel in favour of WALKING UP THE FJORD. (It should be noted that I am unfit to the point of often appearing comatose.) Possibly my memory is developed from a combination of dehydration, extreme exhaustion, and a hallucinatory longing for any contraption that would have dragged my sorry corpse up the rest of the incline. I did make it, but let me tell you: That whole “sense of accomplishment” thing? Vastly overrated.
