I stumbled upon the Rainer Hersch thing yesterday, and a quick search on his name led me to a show review from the Edmonton Fringe. (Who knew Edmonton was such a cultural hotspot? Or that Edmonton and “hot” would ever be used in the same sentence?) Turns out, he does a Victor Borge tribute, which basically sounds like he rips off Borge’s best jokes. Ah well, as a misogynist old bastard once said, “great artists steal”, and if you’re gonna steal, steal from the best.
