The rise of the scary, populist Right in the US had its karmic rebalancing today in Austria: Scary, populist Right party leader/Nazi sympathiser Jorg Haider died in a car accident today. We can be fairly sure this isn’t a result of a show of support for Toronto’s Liberal candidate, Carolyn Bennett. (Seriously, the strongarming by political crazies seems to be crossing all kinds of borders, as well as boundaries.)
