About the only thing that makes Grey’s Anatomy worth watching is the fabulous soundtrack. Thank God, then, that ABC now posts all that information on the show’s blog, so I can skip all the crappy writing and terrible acting that makes up America’s least ethical hospital. One of the many new-to-me artists whose work stood out from the schlock was Joshua Radin. He’s not for everyone – this is seriously mellow, lazy-day, relax-in-the-bath music, but it is the apex of that particular genre. His latest CD, We Were Here, is consistently strong, a near-perfect full album. And how often do you hear that in these days of individual downloads? Highly recommended.
