Those who most often interpret the Bible to their own ends* often leave out what this site calls the “Good Stuff” Some of my faves:

And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger. Leviticus 19:10
– “Rejoice with the wife of thy youth…. Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.” Proverbs 5:18-19
– *”The simple believeth every word.” Proverbs 14:15
– “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” 22:6
– “Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.” 23:9
– “A fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.” Ecclesiastes 5:3
– “Walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes.” Ecclesiastes 11:9
– “Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages, and giveth him not for his work” Jeremiah 22:13
