I ask you, why do reporters insist on sentimentalising tragic stories? Is it not enough that a 6 year old was killed, but we have to know that he died singing as a plane tore through his family’s car? What makes this worse is that my cynical reflex kicked in when I read this; my first inclination was laughter. Seriously, The Press, give it a rest and just report the goddamn story.
