Pride &x26; Prejudice (2005) – IMDb;fc=1;ft=20;fm=1

Speaking of fwah, I can recommend the third fantastic movie I’ve seen in less than two weeks. (Lots of good movies in a short period of time make for a very happy me!) The remake of Pride and Prejudice, which you’d think would have been done to death, is fantastic. Keira Knightley is quite good and not thin enough to make me have hunger pangs watching her, and Matthew MacFadyen… well! *flutters fan in front of face and giggles* He’s a more emotional Mr. Darcy than Colin Firth, but I like that, especially when all those emotions and resultant nerves are played through hand movements. Also fun to note that an uncredited rewrite was done by Emma Thompson at the eleventh hour, and her wit and strong-willed femininity shines through in much of the dialogue. A throughly enjoyable film.
