My experience with the British Sun is limited, but what I have seen makes me long for the almost-equally thoughtless and strident Toronto Sun – our local populist rag catering to the white-trash and sports-results crowd. I happened upon a link for a “Airline Bans Bibles” story, but instead of a factual news report, I was taken to a hateful link full of readers’ “thoughts” (simply self-righteous and indignant “Christians” illustrating their xenophobic ignorance.) Out of spite, I chose to thumbs-down the entire site rather than just the article. If SU works properly, I shouldn’t get any more repulsive drivel through my Stumble button from here on in.
