I’ve secretly harboured a desire to attend a Burning Man gathering, despite knowing full well that the noise, drugs, heat and people (virtually the whole experience, really) would kill me. But photos like these make me think I could put up with the annoyances, if it meant being able to partake in the art. Burning Man is an epicentre for terrific, whimsical artists performing to an audience perfectly attuned to their work.
