Another Republican anti-gay legislator has been exposed as having a pro-gay social life. This one’s kind of strange, though. He was arrested for “lewd conduct” in a public toilet:
Roll Call, citing the report, said Sgt. Dave Karsnia made the arrest after an encounter in which he was seated in a stall next to a stall occupied by Craig. Karsnia described Craig tapping his foot, which Karsnia said he “recognized as a signal used by persons wishing to engage in lewd conduct.”
So he was arrested for tapping someone else’s foot? That seems a little harsh, and features disappointing levels of lewdness. Either the policeman is one of those Craig-voting latent homosexuals himself, or the report omits an explanation of what his foot was tapped with…
