Jewish Gifts & Judaica for Hip & Modern Jewish Living @ ModernTribe Jewish Gifts

A store selling “modern Judaica”. I’m not sure exactly what that means, but I get the impression it covers:

Badass teenaged-boy jewelry. (I love the idea of Jewish ninjas, particularly Hasidic ones. I’m picturing slits in the hood for payot.)

Ironically priced items. (A 38 dollar Chai necklace.)

Expensive plastic toys to recreate something that could probably be purchased for real, every week, for less. (I always looked forward to Friday night as a kid, but for weekend-starting reasons, rather than religious commitments.)

And subtly stereotypical gifts for gentiles to buy their – possibly only – Jewish friend. (A Jewish billfold? Really?)
