David Marsden – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Toronto’s radio offerings are – in a word – dire. But Thursday and Friday nights after 7pm are a welcome exception, thanks to the loopy contributions of Dave Marsden. Not only does he play rare and unusual songs from the 60s through the 90s, he introduces each one with his trademark patter, which makes him sound like he’s been chronically stoned from the 60s through the 90s. It’s non-sensical jabber, true, but so is the stuff the other, self-serious DJs spout. At least Dave’s is intentionally hilarious.
