Walter Cronkite – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Reports of Walter Cronkite’s poor health led me to think about how much he reminds me of David Attenborough: Both are national treasures in an avuncular mold – trustworthy and humane, but with a moral streak that they’re not afraid to show when someone needs a good talking to. And they’re both irreplaceable. The world is a better place for having known Walter Cronkite; I wish him well.
