Thumbing this up because the indignation is absolutely earned: As one who doesn’t watch the TV for her news, my insight into the drowning of Nashville came as one or two “headlines” which were nowhere near the top of the news lists. When I saw pictures of the flood damage, I was shocked. It’s amazing to think, in this era of 24/7 news coverage, that a raise-awareness campaign is needed to highlight the devastation of a large American city. Has Paris Hilton been particularly active this week, that cameras and “journalists” were required elsewhere?
