Unfortunately Named Tasty Desserts

I treated myself to a “boul choco” at my favourite French bakery in town, and as it was just merigue couched in buttercream (hellooooo diabetes), I reasoned that I might be able to rustle up my own. I had to do some digging to find a recipe, and when I finally did, it was a bit like hitting a sewer line. The traditional name is, shall we say, A LOT DIFFERENT to the politically correct modern appellation. For anyone interested in making their own, here’s the French recipe for “Head of [Horrible Epithet for Black People]“. The name is unpalatable, but the dessert certainly isn’t.
