http://www.bentobjects.blogspot.com/ I’m very, very late to the Bent Objects party, and am now kicking myself for not showing up sooner. INCREDIBLY witty little scenes, made of simple materials and shot with a professional eye. No wonder the artist’s snagged a book deal so quickly. This is fabulous work.

http://feltron.com/index.php?/content/2007_annual_report/ A graphic artist’s effective and whimsical “diary”, presented in the glossy, diagram-heavy style of an annual report. Brilliant and creative, it makes me extremely jealous.
Nathan Sawaya, the LEGO artist 2 | haha.nu – the lifestyle blogzine
http://haha.nu/amazing/nathan-sawaya-the-lego-artist-2 When I was a kid, my older cousins (both artists) would come over and raid my Lego bin, making complex and astonishing models and creations while I sat, discontent with my poorly-constructed hollow and roofless houses. Frustration led me to develop a shallow loathing for anyone with Lego talents. So while these Lego sculptures […]
Fun Forever – Luxury fun is affordable for everyone! & Rice Field Art
http://www.funforever.net/archives/rice-field-art/ Crop circles meet those tiresome sidewalk drawings. This is awesome. Though I doubt I’ll find it so after companies start using this for advertising and it’s been Stumbled 800 times…

Fwis • Readymech Series 002
http://readymech.com/ Oh man, are these little paper toys ever cute! I particularly like the little winged Japanese girl – I’ve got the eye of a 6 year old, and vibrant colours always revert me to a kindergartener’s mindset. Unfortunately, I also have a kindergartener’s motor skills and clammy hands, so I’d either have to find […]

Flamin Libs: Super Mario Trombones
http://killpacktravels.blogspot.com/2007/03/super-mario-trombones.html Super Mario music, as played by a trombone trio. Cute, but would’ve been way more familiar with a clarinettist playing slides to represent the unlocking of mystery box items, and a triangle player randomly collecting coins in the background.
Tate Modern| Past Exhibitions | The Unilever Series: Carsten Höller: Test Site
http://www.tate.org.uk/modern/exhibitions/carstenholler/photos.shtm Modern art often requires some quotes around “art” and a grain or two of salt with which to take it. Installation “art” is usually also accompanied by a self-applied slap to the forehead, all the better to force the pretension to be processed by one’s brain. Imagine my delight, then, to see this squeeful […]
Invisible Book | Apologies
http://invisiblebook.org/ I’m not sure if this is meant to be a kind of PostSecret competitor, but the idea is similar. Here, instead of secrets, you’re invited to post apologies. It’s as fascinating as PS in its revelations, though much, much sadder. The joy of PS is the occasional laugh or witty artwork thrown in amidst […]
