Excerpts from the London Review of Books’ lonelyhearts ads, which are as witty as you’d expect from LRB readers. Makes me wish I had a subscription, or better yet the shining wit to come up with my own. Or I may just reappropriate my favourite from the page for my own use. As I’m sure the LRB has discussed, it’s been a banner year for plagiarism and literary uproar, and one must get into the spirit of the Year In Review season, don’t you know:

‘List your ten favourite albums… I just want to know if there’s anything worth keeping when we finally break up. Practical, forward thinking man, 35.’
